OPI - The It Color with Kleancolor - 24 Carat on accent nail

I’ve been camera-less for the majority of this entire school year and I’m not gonna lie.. even though I wanted a break, this sucks. Hopefully I’ll be getting a new one for my graduation present but with all the payments and expenses of this year, I can’t be sure.

Anyway, life without a camera hasn’t been HORRIBLE though.. I have had my iPhone. So instead of documenting all of my manicures with my camera, I’ve been doing it with my phone + instagram. I’ve decided that I’m going to start posting them on here since I haven’t been posting(and by posting, I mean beauty blogging) regularly since that fateful football at Mount Vernon(the night my camera broke) and I wanted to change that!

OPI - Chick Flick Cherry

I needed to get a color that was as close as possible to my college’s main color, which is crimson, for when I went to visit last month. Luckily, my Ulta had one bottle left of this PERFECT color! It’s not obnoxious but it’s not a dreary brown-red that crimson sometimes portrays. It looks wonderful on my papery pale skin.. for once.

and this was my Christmas morning manicure!!! ….I’ve changed my nails three times in three days, I know. I’m aware. It’s really bad.

and I believe I shot at like, f/3 so you can see the nails a little better if you view larger! I’m getting the hang of this!

Kleancolor - V.I.P. over OPI - Dutch Tulips

Pretty much the one polish I was the most excited for because it seems to be Kleancolor’s most popular color… I like, but I’m not obsessed. I’m definitely a fan though. In church, the holo was reflecting green, in sunlight it’s orange and in-between, it’s yellow. It’s actually really fascinating.

and sorry I’m so horrible at focusing my photos…. since I always shoot at 1.4, it’s hard to get the bottle and the actual nail in focus.. I guess I’ll start shooting at higher apertures..

Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Black over OPI - Black Onyx

The colors that I was excited the most for were all of my holo colors!!!! I tried out Holo Blue first over OPI’s What’s With the Cattitude? aka my favorite nail polish color. And huzzah, I’ve created my favorite layering duo.

Holo Blue goes PERFECTLY with WWtC. I have to agree with every other person who has ever swatched a holo polish in that you can’t get the full effect unless you see it in person. So pretty.
